This is one of two new RSP Positions that were created at ALMS at the start of the current school year (of 4 RSP Positions in total) in order to serve increasing numbers of RSP students with IEPs while keeping Caseload numbers at a balanced and manageable level. This position requires that the candidate provide Push-in and Pull-out Services to our RSP students with IEPs who receive the vast majority of their instruction in General Education (GE) classes. Thus, this position requires regular ongoing communication with both the SPED Department and 6th-, 7th- and 8th-Grade GE Teachers across multiple subject areas who are very collaborative and inclusive-minded. The candidate who obtains this position will be supported by a very cohesive SPED Department at our site that includes: 3 other RSP Teachers, 2 of whom are past graduates of the combined-M/M Education Specialist Credential-M.A. in SPED Program at San Francisco State University; 3 SDC Teachers; 1 Therapeutic Classroom Teacher; a School Psychologist and; a Speech & Language Pathologist.

Seeing as how the school year recently began, the candidate who is offered this position will be caught up to speed and trained by a team of people who will support them as they are worked into the fold as part of the ALMS "Ram Fam" (Moniker referring to the School Mascot of a Ram)!

Applicants: Notify Mr. Reichle when you apply that you found this position via the SFSU Website.
