I am a hard-working single mom, looking for a responsible, loving person to support my two children in their online learning this fall and help with managing their day while I work at home. My kids are nine-year-old twins, and my daughter is fairly self-directed at this stage in her COVID online learning. The primary support need is with my son who has developmental disabilities and is a rising 3rd grader in the SDC at Clarendon. My work hours can be flexible, so I am happy to work with someone to craft a schedule that allows them to do their own online classes and coursework throughout the day, and from our home if that is easier.
We hope to find a rising teacher (though others interested should also feel free to reach out) who would welcome the opportunity to learn from working online with Zeke's wonderful SDC teacher, para team and therapists (PT, ST, OT, all online) and in-person with two wonderful and engaging kids! We are also focused on finding someone who is taking social distancing very seriously, is open to joining the pod of our family, and will commit to continuing safe social distancing practices in their daily life. And we are also open to exploring this student living with us for a few months as part of the package (with compensation adjusted accordingly) if that would be of interest. We are also open to exploring the option of picking you up and dropping you off by car before and after shifts, to help all of us stay safe and healthy.
