Curriculum
Our curriculum prepares students to meet the standards of ASHA certification, California state licensure in speech-language pathology, and the California Speech-Language Pathology Services Credential. Throughout their education, graduate students gain experience to provide culturally-responsive therapeutic services with children and adults with many communicative challenges. The CD Program offers both academic and clinical preparation to meet the “Big Nine” areas of communicative disorders in addition to specialization areas such as Autism Spectrum Disorders and Augmentative and Alternative Communication.
